About the Founder
Jessica Wang brings a distinct perspective to her teaching, shaped by over a decade in investment leadership and a lifelong commitment to music. While leading high-stakes M&A transactions, managing finance teams, and navigating an IPO, music was never far from her mind—she often found herself thinking about playing a musical keyboard while typing away at her computer one.
Eventually, she returned to the piano, beginning with the Juilliard Extension program, where she rekindled her love of classical music and built a strong technical foundation. That experience led her to pursue more formal training, earning a Master’s Degree in Classical Piano Performance from the Mannes School of Music, where she was awarded a full scholarship as a Mannes Teaching Fellow.
Jessica’s approach to teaching is both structured yet highly individualized. Drawing from her background in leadership and performance excellence, she tailors her instruction to each student’s unique strengths, learning style, and motivation. Her philosophy emphasizes both discipline and creativity, fostering technical mastery while nurturing a love for music. She creates a warm yet structured learning environment where students build confidence, develop a refined musical ear, and cultivate the perseverance necessary for success—both at the piano and beyond.
Jessica has performed at Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall, and the National Opera Center. When she’s not at the piano, she enjoys spending time with her husband and two-year-old son in Brooklyn. She is passionate about inspiring young musicians and creating a joyful, engaging learning experience for every student.
